1. Mandatory Third-Party Liability (TPL)
In strict accordance with United Arab Emirates statutory regulations, all Zirwah vehicles are provided with Standard Third-Party Liability insurance.
Scope of Coverage: Indemnification against claims for bodily injury or property damage sustained by third parties.
Limitation of Liability: This baseline coverage does not extend to the rented asset. In the absence of supplemental waivers, the renter remains personally liable for the full cost of repairs or replacement of the Zirwah vehicle.
2. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) – Supplemental Protection
Clients may opt to upgrade their protection via the Collision Damage Waiver. This elective coverage is designed to reduce the renter’s financial exposure in the event of an incident.
- Provision: Covers accidental damage to the rented vehicle, subject to a defined deductible.
- Scope: Includes coverage for minor aesthetic damages (scratches/dents) as per policy limitations.
- Exclusions: Coverage is rendered void in instances of:
- Operating the vehicle under the influence of controlled substances or alcohol.
- Engagement in competitive driving, racing, or unauthorized off-road activity.
- Failure to provide a formal Police Report.
3. Zero Excess Premium Coverage – Total Indemnity
For maximum security, the Zero Excess Plan offers comprehensive protection, eliminating the renter’s financial liability for covered accidental damages.
Key Benefits: 100% coverage for accident-related repairs and inclusive 24/7 roadside assistance.
Fixed Exclusions: This plan does not indemnify against:
- Negligent damage to vehicle interiors or loss of keys.
- Damage to tires, windshields, or the underbody resulting from improper operation.
- Operation of the vehicle by unregistered or unauthorized drivers.
4. Security Deposit & Financial Obligations
- Refundable Deposit: A security deposit is mandated for all rental agreements to cover potential deductibles, traffic fines, or administrative fees.
- Deductibles: If CDW or Zero Excess plans are not procured, the renter’s liability will be assessed against the security deposit or billed as a supplemental charge upon vehicle return.
5. Incident Reporting & Mandatory Protocols
In the event of a collision or mechanical failure, the following procedural steps are mandatory to maintain insurance validity:
- Scene Safety: Ensure the safety of all occupants and remain at the location.
- Statutory Reporting: Contact the Dubai Police (999) immediately. An official police report is a condition precedent for all insurance claims.
- Corporate Notification: Contact the Zirwah Car Rental support team immediately at the provided emergency number.
- Non-Interference: Do not attempt unauthorized repairs or move the vehicle until instructed by authorities or Zirwah management.
- Notice: Failure to secure a valid police report will result in the immediate forfeiture of insurance coverage, rendering the renter fully liable for all associated costs.
6. 24/7 Emergency & Roadside Support
Zirwah provides continuous technical support for operational disruptions, including:
- Mechanical or electrical diagnostics.
- Battery rejuvenation and tire replacement services.
- Emergency towing and recovery.

7. General Exclusions & Breach of Contract
Insurance coverage is contingent upon the lawful operation of the vehicle. Liability waivers are automatically nullified by:
- Regulatory Violations: Any breach of UAE traffic laws (e.g., excessive speeding, reckless driving).
- Environmental Misuse: Operating luxury or exotic vehicles in desert or off-road conditions.
- Gross Negligence: Leaving the vehicle unsecured, idling, or unattended in public spaces.
