1. Authorized Payment Modalities
To ensure transactional security and operational efficiency, the Company accepts the following financial instruments:
- Electronic Cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
- Digital Wallets: Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Institutional Transfers: Bank transfers are permitted for corporate accounts or long-term lease agreements.
- Currency: Payments must be settled in full before vehicle dispatch or at the commencement of the rental term.
2. Security Deposit & Escrow Protocols
A refundable security deposit is a mandatory prerequisite for all rental agreements. This serves as a financial guarantee against potential liabilities.
- Hold Duration: Deposits are retained for a period of up to 30 calendar days. This window allows for the comprehensive reconciliation of UAE traffic fines, Salik (toll) charges, and damage assessments.
- Authorization (Preferred): For credit card transactions, the Company utilizes a pre-authorization hold, which is automatically released upon satisfactory vehicle return.
- Manual Settlement: Deposits made via bank transfer or cash are subject to a processing cycle of 7 to 30 business days, contingent upon third-party banking clearing times and fine verification.
3. Fee Structure & Ancillary Charges
- Standard Rates: All daily rates are inclusive of mandatory third-party insurance as per UAE statutory requirements.
- Taxation: Prices are exclusive of the 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) and any supplemental service fees.
- Surcharges: The client acknowledges liability for additional costs, including, but not limited to:
- Salik (toll) crossings and administrative processing fees.
- Statutory traffic violations and penalties.
- Late return fees for vehicles surrendered beyond the stipulated contractual time.
4. Cancellation & Termination Protocols
Zirwah Car Rental provides the following frameworks for booking modifications:
- Standard Cancellation: Cancellations initiated at least 24 hours before the scheduled commencement are eligible for a full reimbursement of the rental fee.
- Late Cancellation: Requests made within less than 24 hours of the pickup time may incur an administrative fee equivalent to one day’s rental.
- Non-Appearance (No-Show): Failure to collect the vehicle or provide prior notification of cancellation will result in a 100% charge for the initial 24-hour period.
5. Disbursement of Refunds
Refunds are issued through the original channel of payment and adhere to the following institutional timelines:
- Credit/Debit Instruments: 7–14 business days.
- Interbank Transfers: 10–30 business days.
- Non-Refundable Components: Security deposits (until cleared), unused rental days following early returns, and premium insurance upgrades are categorically non-refundable.
6. Early Asset Return Policy
The Company operates on a fixed-term contractual basis. Should a client elect to return the vehicle prior to the expiration of the agreed rental period, the Company is under no obligation to issue partial credits or refunds for the remaining duration. Any adjustments to the rental term must be negotiated and approved before the start of the contract.
7. Dispute Resolution & Chargeback Litigation
Zirwah Car Rental is committed to fair financial practices. We request that clients contact our Billing Department to resolve any discrepancies before initiating a formal chargeback with their financial institution.
- Litigation: The Company reserves the right to contest fraudulent chargebacks by providing comprehensive evidence of service delivery and contractual compliance.
- Blacklisting: Misuse of payment systems or unsubstantiated disputes may result in the permanent loss of the client’s eligibility for future services.
